A Rakes Progress -

The annual event returns from Saturday, October 1 to Monday, October 31, 2011

It’s back! Your annual fix of fun, frolics, fact and fiction – Lit.Com – returns for another year with an exciting array of events taking place at venues across North East Lincolnshire.

The month long literature and comedy festival features workshops, poetry readings, talks and children’s events, as well as the best in UK stand up and touring theatre.

Charlotte Bowen, director of The Culture House, organiser of the Lit.Com festival, which is supported by North East Lincolnshire Council and Arts Council England, said: “We are delighted once again, in partnership with other organisations, to be bringing a high quality mix of live events to North East Lincolnshire.

“We hope during Lit.Com that audiences will take the opportunity to the see fantastic drama productions, with an edge of comedy – by leading UK companies, as well as soak up the fun during the numerous comedy events.

“In addition there’s the chance to take part in workshops and discussions, perform your own work and listen to some interesting talks.

Charlotte added: “It’s the perfect blend for an autumn pit-stop.”
