Activities inspire children in North East Lincolnshire during May half term

by Steve Beasant on 13 May, 2014

Sports and arts activities are in abundance during May half term as Lincs Inspire guarantee to keep children entertained in the North East Lincolnshire area.

Holiday activities are taking place at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre on Wednesday, May 28 and Grimsby Leisure Centre on Thursday, May 29. And Bradley Football Development Centre is running their popular holiday football course from Tuesday, May 27 to Friday, May 30.

The leisure centre activities are for children aged five to 11 and include street dance, zumba, handball, swimming, parkour, arts and crafts. The main session is from 10am to 3pm and costs £10, but ‘bolt on’ activities to extend the days’ activities cost £2.50 and run from 8:30am to 10am, 3pm to 4:30pm and 4:30pm to 6pm. A special May half term offer is available where each child will get a free ‘bolt-on’ activity when one ‘bolt-on’ activity is bought with a main 10am to 3pm session.

To guarantee a space, a booking and consent form must to be completed, per participant, per day. Activities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To request a form call in to the leisure centres or call Cleethorpes (01472) 323200 or Grimsby on (01472) 323100. Alternatively email [email protected].

Bradley Football Development Centre’s four-day football course costs £25 and is for children aged five to 14. It runs from 10am to 3pm daily and also has ‘extra time’ activities, which cost an additional £2 from 8:30am to 10am and 3pm to 5:30pm. For more information or to book a place call the Bradley office on (01472) 325300 or email [email protected].
