An overnight road closure will be in place on the A180 Cleethorpe Road between Freeman Street and Lockhill roundabout on the night of Sunday 4 January.
The closure is part of the ongoing works to improve air quality and ease congestion in the Riby Square area of Grimsby.
The road will close at 7.30pm on Sunday and reopen at 4am on Monday 5 January.
Junction improvement works at Lockhill roundabout and Riby Square are halfway through the construction period.
The current layout of the cones, barriers and temporary traffic signals needs to be altered before the next phase of works can start.
Closing the road overnight will help protect the contractors while they carry out their work and keep disruption to a minimum.
The council and its partner Cofely apologise in advance for any disruption caused while these works take place.
