Man in hospital after he was discovered this morning
Humberside Police have been in attendance at the flyover of Prince Albert Gardens in Grimsby, following the discovery of a man with serious facial injuries.
A 999 call was made to the police and ambulance service at 7.47am after a passer-by witnessed a man face-down with injuries, under the flyover near Prince Albert Gardens and King Edward Street.
The scene was initially cordoned off and the 56-year-old man was taken to hospital in Grimsby where he died a short time later.
The man is believed to have had a medical episode which resulted in him falling and sustaining his injuries and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
