Can you help identify those responsible?

Witnesses are being sought after two 15-year-old girls were robbed as they walked through Grimsby’s Grant Thorold Park.

The incident happened between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Friday, October 2.

The girls were approached by a group of three girls, aged between 16 and 18, who shouted abuse at them.

One of the girls was assaulted and fell to the floor, where she was further assaulted, suffering cuts and bruises to her face and upper body.

The gang escaped with two mobile phones, an iPod and a handbag – which was later found empty on nearby Humberstone Road.

One of the suspects was said to have dark hair in a ponytail. Another had lighter hair.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly two young boys on scooters, who returned one of the victims’ keys to her after finding them on the ground.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting log number 534 of October 2.
