Freaky Frankentoys Sessions

by Steve Beasant on 20 October, 2015

Local children have the chance to be like Dr Frankenstein and make a hybrid creature or machine out of different parts of other toys this October half term.

Lincs Inspire Libraries are holding a number of freaky ‘Frankentoys’ sessions, giving children the opportunity to get creative and conjure a haunting hybrid creature or mystical machine from old toys. As well as giving the toys a spooky new lease of life, children will have the opportunity to give their creation a name and have its picture taken.

Sessions cost £1 per child and are being held at:

  • Immingham Library – Monday, October 26 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm (01469) 516050
  • Waltham Library – Tuesday, October 27 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm (01472) 323656
  • Grimsby Library – Wednesday, October 28 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm (01472) 323600
  • Cleethorpes Library – Thursday, October 29 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm (01472) 323650

Places must be booked in advance either in person or by ringing the library where the event is being held.
