Liberal Democrat MP for Leeds North West Greg Mulholland has given his support to a new education pack produced by NHS Blood and Transplant, the organ donation organisation for the UK.
The pack has been created by teachers and clinicians and equips secondary school teachers with the knowledge to educate and engage key stage 3 and 4 students about organ donation.
On average, three people die every day because not enough people are prepared to say yes to organ donation.
The resources focus on real life stories of young people affected by organ donation and transplantation. The pack includes:
