The National Institute of Economic and Social Research have released figures revealing that the Brexit vote has cost each household in the UK more than £600 a year already.

Tom Brake, Liberal Democrat Brexit Spokesperson said:

“This is further proof that Brexit is already damaging our living standards and harming our economy.

“The government needs to be open with the people of Britain. It is high time that David Davis released the government’s impact assessments he is holding back and revealed exactly what Brexit will look like.

“These figures will only get worse as the government continues on its path towards and extreme Brexit.

“The Liberal Democrats are the only party offering an exit from Brexit, giving the people the opportunity to call a stop to this already very damaging process.”
