Commenting on Damian Green’s calls for the Brexit papers to be made public, Tom Brake, Liberal Democrat Brexit Spokesperson, said: 

“It is shameful that this government is keeping the public in the dark about Brexit. The future of the UK is being plotted behind closed doors, without scrutiny and without transparency.

“The people of Britain are being told to put their blind faith in David Davis, no wonder no one is sitting comfortably.

“With all the evidence on the table, and once the outcome of the negotiations is known, the public must be given a vote on the final deal. The people must be given a chance to exit from Brexit.”
