Responding to Theresa May’s speech on Brexit, Home Affairs spokesperson, Ed Davey, said:
“Theresa May’s idea of a ‘Labour Mobility Framework’ sounds suspiciously like freedom of movement for workers, something we already benefit from as EU. If Theresa May’s problem with freedom of movement was simply its name then Brexit seems like an extremely expensive rebadging exercise.
“Freedom of movement has allowed British people from all backgrounds the chance to live, work and love across European borders without bureaucratic hurdles, something we must not lose sight of in these negotiations.”
