“The marked lack of progress in negotiations will overshadow May’s trip to Brussels. At this point in negotiations all parties expected considerable progress. Time is running out.
“We were promised a white paper, yet the Tories have failed to present a tangible, realistic plan for Brexit. With the deadline for striking a deal fast approaching, it is deeply concerning that Theresa May has not made any more headway with any of the aspects of Brexit, including the future customs relationship.
“Brexit was billed as an uncomplicated decision with no downsides. Instead, it has proven complicated, with a litany of downsides. It becomes clearer by the day that the people must be given the final say on the Brexit deal and a chance to exit from Brexit.”Leave a comment
