Commenting on Donald Trump’s visit to the UK, Liberal Democrat Leader Vince Cable said: 

“Trump is fast becoming Britain’s enemy. He is trying to destroy the rules-based system of trade and cooperation on which we depend.

“Trump befriends autocrats and despises democrats. He does not rate NATO; he even regards the Canadians as a threat to US national security.

“Those businesses and other leaders who fraternise with Trump should be careful of their reputations.”
