Cleethorpes paddling pool will open for the summer on Saturday, June 4, and the council’s beach safety team are crossing their fingers for a run of good weather for visitors and day-trippers to enjoy.
The paddling pool, which is next to the boating lake, is approximately six inches deep and has a small fountain at one end. It is free to use and offers a pleasant, sheltered area that is ideal for everyone to enjoy.
During the summer season, the paddling pool will be open seven days a week, between 10am and 5pm, closing for an hour between 1pm and 2pm daily. It will remain open until Sunday, September 4, when it will shut for the winter.
Please note that during exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or technical problems, the paddling pool may be closed.
The area is patrolled by Royal Life Saving Society qualified lifeguards and toilets and baby changing facilities are also available on site.
Parents and carers should remember that children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while using the paddling pool.
