An elderly woman has reported having her purse snatched as she approached her home in Buttermere Way, Grimsby on Friday 27 February 2015.
The woman was returning home at around 1130hrs on Friday and on arrival at her front door, she was approached from behind by an unknown man who took the keys from the door and also snatched a purse from the woman’s hand.
The man is described as wearing blue jeans, a black puffa jacket with a small white logo on the front, a grey woollen hat and black shoes or trainers. He was also noted to be carrying a black holdall with the word “Wilson” written on the side.
The man left the scene taking the black leather purse with him which contained a small amount of cash and personal effects.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
