Grimsby: Circumstances investigated 

Independent witnesses are sought to an incident reported as having taken place yesterday morning around 7:15am in the Grant Thorold Park area of Grimsby

Two men and a woman were said to be in conversation with another man in Cooper Road at around 7:15am yesterday, Tuesday 29 December 2015. A dispute is alleged to have ensued during which it is claimed one of the men produced a weapon and chased the other three people onto Humberstone Road in the area of Grant Thorold Park.

Although nobody was injured, the incident caused those allegedly being threatened to be in  fear of violence. A 50 year old man has been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are working to determine the circumstances of the incident and ask anyone who may have witnessed the event yesterday morning to call 101 quoting crime reference number AC/22159979.
