Last year, thousands of people flocked to North East Lincolnshire for the inaugural Cleethorpes Airshow and this year’s event promises to be a great celebration – it is hoped that this years event will be bigger and better than 2012.
Cleethorpes lends itself to a perfect location and backdrop to an aircraft display of both vintage and fast jet aircraft which the public is sure to enjoy free of charge.
Cleethorpes plays host to a variety of celebrations and festivals this summer which is great news for the viewing public and visitors to the Cleethorpes resort, while not forgetting the 70th Anniversary year of the Dambusters raid by 617 Squadron which holds many local ties with the surrounding RAF stations.
Joint partnership working with sponsors and delivery partners has enabled Cleethorpes Airshow Limited to deliver our second event for Lincolnshire and surrounding areas of which this is only the start of great things to come for all those with a passion for aviation. For great fun and free family entertainment come along to Cleethorpes and our very own air display featuring the Red Arrows and many more favourites.
