An unknown man made attempts to steal bicycle from teenage boy
POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Grimsby.
At around 0840hrs on Thursday 05 June a 14 year old boy was cycling alone, through Grant Thorold Park, Durban Road in Grimsby.
An unknown man is reported to have stood in front of the boy, and stopped him from being able to cycle away.
The man is then alleged to have asked the boy to hand over his bicycle before assaulting him.
As the boy fell to the floor, the unknown man looked in the opposite direction and shouted something. This enabled the boy to get back on his bicycle and cycle away.
The teenage boy sustained slight injuries to his nose and his face in the incident.
Anyone who may seen what happened is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting crime reference 2049000.
