You may have read in the Grimsby Evening Telegraph that AgeUK North East Lincolnshire has organised a one day event (10.00am until 4.00pm on Friday 6th February at their Osborne Street premises) to reach out to the 50+ age group living in the East Marsh area.

Age UK will be laying on door-to-door transport for those who want it – in addition to our own minibus we have arranged to use one of Age UK North Lincolnshire’s fleet to boost our capacity.

Organisations have already provided sponsorship to enable Age UK to provide a two-course meal, tea/coffee and the transport gratis for up to 50 people. In addition to the meal there will be other activities and services laid on for residents who choose to participate. In fact, everything is in place to enable us to host this event as intended – we just need to be sure that enough residents come forward to join us!
