The Labour Party have joined the government in voting for a hard Brexit as they voted against an amendment that would have kept the option open for the UK to remain in the Single Market and Customs Union.
Commenting after the vote Tim Farron MP said:
“Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May have voted together again for a hard Brexit.
“Well done to those brave Labour MPs who votes with the Lib Dems to keep us in the Customs Union.”
